Moving to Canada in January 2015 with my wife Christine to work as Postdoctoral Researcher in Chemistry at the University of Alberta in Edmonton has also allowed me to rediscover my love for photography. The Aurora and the breathtaking landscapes have made photography my favorite hobby again. Now as we moved back to Germany and reside in Rostock again, I will push to set my home into a new perspective through my photography.
I started to take photography seriously about 9 years ago now and let it become one of my greatest passions. Originally I just wanted to take great shots of basketball games and I ended up buying my first DSLR. From there I just got infected with the photography virus and I always try to take my work to the next level. Therefore I hope to get more input from people through this site and also hope that I can give you an insight into my workflow and some stories behind my photographs. I have a passion for landscape and night sky photography, but I also love taking action shots especially of basketball and soccer. In the future I wish to expand my knowledge and also get more serious about portrait shooting and documentations. Thanks for visiting my page. I appreciate every single comment and I am very happy about critique, especially negative, just to provide the most terrific shots for you.
